Their musical folk mix, to which they like to refer to as ‘postmodern federal republican folklore with north east European character and east occidental rhythmic’, transports German, English, French and international lyrics with a strong influence of Irish instrumental music, polka and a hint of world music. All this is supported by a healthy amount of self-mockery and comedy.Along the way, lyrical classics like ‘Erlkönig’ or ‘Lorelei’ and musical classics, such as Mozart’s ‘Eine kleine Nachtmusik’, get completely revamped. That means you just have got to sing along! Equipped with double bass, guitar, mandolin, banjo, drums, fiddles, percussion and their several voices they make Mozart, Grieg and Brahms danceable to bold lyrics – always with a wink. They establish fun folk and polka as a style that just wants to say one thing: Get on the stage and dance!...................................................................................... 1.Nobody Knows sind Jungfolks einer neuen Generation. Ihr Folkcocktail, den sie selbst als „postmoderne, bundesrepublikanische Folklore mit nordwesteuropäischer Note und ostokzidentaler Rhythmik“ beschreiben, präsentiert auf dem Tablett gesunder Selbstironie und Kommödieantismus' deutsche, englische, französisch und internationale Texte mit einem starken Einschlag der irischen Instrumentalmusik, Polka und einem Hauch von Weltmusik.Nebenbei erfahren lyrische und musische Klassiker wie der „Erlkönig“ oder die „Loreilei“, aber auch Mozarts „Kleine Nachtmusik“ einen kompletten Neuanstrich, so dass man nach der zweiten Strophe einfach mitsingen muss.
